April Feature Project – Outdoor Bar

April 20, 2016

Canadian summers are short. Spending quality time out of doors becomes a major priority for many once the days get longer and warmer. Whether in the country, at the cottage or in town, patios and decks are a common site that get lots of use. And the better they look, the more we enjoy them. This month’s Fusion Stone feature project is a case in point.

The following in progress images will give you a sense of how creative design energy can transform a good idea into a truly remarkable finished product. The setting on a beautiful lake is undeniably a great backdrop but this outdoor bar and storage room would be pretty impressive on its own.

The Fusion Stone Great Lakes style in Raven colour is the focus of the bar and lower half of the storage room. As this project progressed you can see how materials, accessories and colour selections complement this stone design centre piece.

The rugged and traditional look of Fusion Stone Great Lakes was beautifully matched with a charcoal colour selection for the wood panelling on the storage room as well as the eaves and beams over the bar. This resulted in an almost historic look on what is clearly a new build.

The patio stones, design accents, deck furniture and impressive pergola each make a contribution to the focal point of the bar and storage room. This project is a stellar example of how far an idea can be taken and an excellent demonstration of how Fusion Stone can help to bring it all together with style and grace.

And remember, Fusion Stone is available in three distinct profiles and comes in multiple colours. It is also maintenance-free, guaranteed for life, and available at over 1,500 building supply retailers across Canada.
