July Feature Project – West Coast Chic

juillet 18, 2017

More and more, architects, designers and homeowners are welcoming the concept of West Coast Chic in residential design. Common features of this style are solid, boxy stone and wooden facades with windows that allow expansive outdoor views. Our feature project is a great example of this west coast influence.

Fusion Stone Great Lakes in the Raven colour takes centre stage in this design that so ably expresses the west coast style. The use of complementary colour wood that extends the boxy theme provides the overall design with defining distinction and high drama.

The varigation of colours in Raven allow it to not only blend well with other elements of this house but provide the overall structure with character and interest. The spare but well considered landscaping is a perfect fit with the total design as it provides consistency to the minimalist theme of West Coast Chic architecture.

Where is it written that a roof must have a peak? Who says stone must only be used for traditional design? Rules are meant to be broken and Fusion Stone is a ready and able partner in that endeavor.

Remember, Fusion Stone is now available in three distinct profiles and comes in multiple colours. It is maintenance-free, guaranteed for life, and available at over 1,500 building supply retailers across Canada.
