A Guide to Fusion Stone’s DIY Stone Veneers Product Range
décembre 17, 2014
One thing we take pride in at Fusion Stone, besides the quality of our products, is the range of options we give you when it comes to choosing the perfect look for your property.
Having such choice though can make it a little difficult to decide which option to choose.
Here’s a handy rundown of all our products.
Great Lakes
Great Lakes stone veneer adds a timeless and traditional rural look to every property it’s used on. The rugged stones, when installed in their uneven pattern, make any surface convincingly resemble a beautiful, solid stone construction.
Wherever you may want to install Great Lakes – and it looks equally elegant on the outside of your house, as a fire surround, on kitchen walls or the breakfast bar – the choice of four colours (Brindle, Carbon, Raven, Fawn) means there will be a complement to the existing look of your house.
Easy to install with no mortar, Great Lakes is Fusion Stone’s top selling option.
Dry-Stack
As the name suggests, Dry-Stack stone veneer is another mortar-free option from Fusion Stone. Offering a less rugged look than Great Lakes, Dry-Stack might be considered a more subtle installation, although it is no less beautiful.
Available in two colours (Caramel and Charcoal), this stacked stone veneer is easy to install and perhaps a conservative, more understated choice for properties in urban surroundings.
Dry-Stack discreetly modifies the existing look of your property rather than dramatically changing it and is easy and clean to install anywhere.
Phoenix
The only Fusion Stone that requires mortar, Phoenix stone veneer is a great option for those looking to enhance the look of their property. It is available in two stunning colors (Silverado and Cambria).
Unlike the mortar-free Great Lakes and Dry-Stack, Phoenix requires the installation of our Poz-E-Flow felt cover behind the veneer to prevent mortar from clogging the drainage cavity.
Because of this extra step, and the need to grout the mortar joints, Phoenix is a more complex installation than Great Lakes or Dry-Stack, but the results are certainly worth it. The added mortar leaves your veneer looking exactly like full bed depth masonry.
Accessories
Fusion Stone is about more than just stone veneer. It is a complete system and provides a range of accessories to ensure you have everything you need to easily upgrade the look of your property.
Borders, keystones, hearthstones, sills and corners add the finishing touches to your project, while stencil stones enable you to personalize your house, name or number in a way that blends seamlessly with the veneer.
For weatherproofing, starter strips, Poz-E-Flo drainage panels and sloped window sills are available, as are all the clips and screws needed for the installation.
The real deal
With such a range of products, Fusion Stone really is the complete stone veneer system.
Whichever style you choose, the installation can be done anywhere, anytime, and on any surface. It is the DIY project you can actually do yourself, and all comes with the reassurance of a lifetime guarantee.
